Terms And Conditions.

Booking Terms and Conditions
By making a reservation at Bunker & Beach, the guest making the booking confirms that they have read, understood and accepted the following terms and conditions on behalf of everyone included in the reservation.

1. Reservations And Payment.

Full payment is required at the time of booking. Deposits and part-payments are not accepted.
A reservation is only confirmed once:
Full payment has been received;
The booking has been accepted by Bunker & Beach; and
Written confirmation has been issued to the guest.
Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee availability or reserve the requested dates.

2. Rates.

In-season rates apply during South African school holidays and long weekends.
In-season rate: R7,000 per night
Out-of-season rate: R4,000 per night
Rates are subject to confirmation and may change until a booking has been formally confirmed.

3. Minimum-Stay Requirements.

School-holiday reservations require a minimum stay of seven consecutive nights.
Long weekends must be booked for the full duration of the long weekend.
No minimum stay applies to out-of-season reservations unless otherwise stated when booking.

4. Cancellations And Refunds.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, early departures or nights that guests choose not to use.

5. Maximum Occupancy.

Bunker & Beach accommodates a maximum of ten guests.
Only guests included in the confirmed reservation may stay at the property. Additional overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval.
Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in the booking being terminated without a refund.

6. Check-In And Check-Out.

Check-in is from 2 pm.
Check-out is by 10 am.
Early check-in or late check-out may only be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.

7. Breakage Or Security Deposit.

The deposit may be used to cover breakages, damage, missing items, excessive cleaning or breaches of these terms. Any remaining balance will be refunded.

8. Care Of The Property.

Guests must take reasonable care of the property, furniture, appliances and facilities.
Any damage, loss or breakage must be reported promptly. The person who made the booking is responsible for the conduct of the group and for costs arising from damage caused during the stay.
Furniture and household items may not be removed from the property or moved outdoors.

9. Cleaning.

Guests are expected to leave the property in a reasonably clean and tidy condition.
An additional cleaning fee may be charged if the house requires excessive cleaning after departure.

10. Swimming Pool.

Use of the swimming pool is entirely at guests’ own risk.
Children and anyone unable to swim must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. No lifeguard is provided.
Running, diving, glassware and unsafe behaviour around the pool are prohibited.

11. Children.

Children are welcome but remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times, particularly around the swimming pool, braai area and entertainment facilities.

12. Noise And Conduct.

Guests must respect neighbouring properties and keep noise at a reasonable level, particularly during the evening and early morning.
Parties, functions and events are not permitted without prior written approval.
Illegal activity, excessive noise, dangerous behaviour or serious disturbance may result in guests being required to leave immediately without a refund.

13. Personal Belongings.

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their vehicles, valuables and personal belongings.
Bunker & Beach and its owners will not be liable for loss, theft or damage to personal property, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

14. Electricity, Water And Services.

Bunker & Beach cannot guarantee uninterrupted electricity, water, internet, television or other services where interruptions are caused by municipal failures, load-shedding, weather, service providers or circumstances outside the owner’s reasonable control.
Such interruptions do not automatically entitle guests to a refund.

15. Access To The Property.

The owner or an authorised representative may enter the property when reasonably necessary to attend to urgent repairs, safety concerns or maintenance. Wherever possible, guests will be notified beforehand.

16. Safety And Liability.

Guests use the property, swimming pool, braai area and entertainment facilities at their own risk.
The owner will not be responsible for injury, loss or damage resulting from negligence, misuse of the facilities or failure to follow reasonable safety precautions, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

17. Circumstances Beyond Our Control.

Bunker & Beach will not be liable for failure to provide accommodation due to events beyond the owner’s reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, civil unrest or major service failures.
Where possible, reasonable efforts will be made to offer alternative dates or another suitable solution.

18. Agreement.

Payment for a reservation confirms acceptance of these terms and conditions by the person making the booking and all guests included in the reservation.
